In November 2025, Slovakia's annual inflation rate remained steady at 3.7%, consistent with the figure from October and marking the lowest rate since April 2024. There were increases in the cost of housing and utilities (rising to 2.9% from 2.5% in October), health services (up to 3.1% from 2.5%), miscellaneous goods and services (increasing to 7.1% from 6.7%), transport (rising to 4.4% from 3.4%), and the restaurant and hotel sector (slightly up to 9.0% from 8.9%). Prices remained unchanged in the areas of recreation and culture (5.4%) and communication (4.3%). Conversely, there was a deceleration in inflation for food and non-alcoholic beverages (down to 0.9% from 1.4%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (decreasing to 5.8% from 6.1%), clothing and footwear (declining to 2.3% from 2.6%), furnishings, household equipment, and routine household maintenance (dropping to 2.4% from 3.1%), and education (slightly down to 8.8% from 8.9%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.3% in November, following a 0.1% increase in the previous month. Core inflation, which excludes goods with regulated prices, decreased to a seven-month low of 2.9% in November, down from 3% in October.
